The Delta3D Package contains everything you need to get started using the Engine.

Delta3D is available as a precompiled SDK for use with Visual Studio 2008 (installer .exe and .zip) and as source code only (.zip).

Note: 2.5.0 is the last stable release under the old version numbering system. The next stable release is slated to be 2.8.0; the first Developer Release is 2.7.0. In the future, stable releases will be even numbered (e.g., 2.8.0, 2.8.1, 2.10.3) and developer releases will be odd numbered (e.g., 2.7.4, 2.7.5, 2.9.2).

Enclosed in this package are fully textured, 3D models either created at the MOVES Institute at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. or contributed by our Partners.

Every model is ready to load into Delta3D in either .flt or .osg. All models have an editable version as well, which are .MAX and .FLT.

The Delta3D source code gets zip'd up every night for those who wish to stay on the cutting edge, yet don't want to access the repository. The files are of the form dt_src_YEAR_MONTH_DAY_HOURMINUTE.zip.

This Package contains only the source code. To compile and run, the External Dependencies will also have to be downloaded.
