Here are a pair of papers on making rain and snow effects using the particle editor, located in the Docs>Knowledge Base artist information section.
Hope someone can get a little use out of them.
Next I'm trying to put together a paper on lighting a scene, covering OSG lighting, vertex lighting, rendered maps, and light maps.
May take a bit as I'm trying to figure out how to do it in Blender as well as Max which I normallly use, might even do Maya but unfortunately it's OSG exporter only seems to crash my machine.
